Drainage designs for engineering structures located in areas with unfavorable soil and water conditions
We perform comprehensive groundwater flow analyses using state-of-the-art computer software (Plaxis, PlaxFlow 2D/3D, Modflow). We prepare comprehensive drainage designs for landslide areas, deep excavations, and other engineering structures constructed in complex soil and water conditions. We have experience in designing groundwater and rock drainage using a wide range of technologies, such as deep linear drainage, slab drainage, and drilled drainage. We also develop designs for temporary or permanent groundwater table lowering using drilled wells and wellpoints.
- Reinforced concrete retaining walls (monolithic, with caps, on/off-centre).
- Reinforced earth structures (MSE) with facing made of reinforced concrete panels or gabions.
- Prefabricated T-type walls (grade line raises, widenings).
- Trench lining: Berlin, made of steel profiles, bored pile palisades (CFA/VDW) and ground nailing.
- Ground anchors and temporary expansion joints.
- Displacement monitoring (inclinometers, benchmarks) and FEM analyses (2D/3D).
