Landslide stabilization projects
We specialize in landslide stabilization projects and landslide-prone areas. We combine stability analysis with water modeling to select solutions that ensure slope safety and predictable implementation – from concept to supervision.
Calculations and tools: block methods (Talren, GGU-Stability, GEO5) and FEM in PLAXIS 2D/3D (with water flow module). We analyze circular and non-circular slip surfaces, staging, and groundwater influences.
Technologies we use:
- Layered retaining structures with a drainage layer.
- Openwork reinforced concrete grates anchored to the slope surface.
- Retaining palisades topped with a reinforced concrete cap.
- Buttresses made of gabion baskets.
- In-situ soil stabilization with hydraulic binders (lime, cement, commercial binders).
- Drainage: slab and deep – improving water conditions in the landslide core.
- Reinforced concrete overhang structures run over active zones.
- (Where required) nailing and ground anchors, faced with shotcrete.
Experience and references
Over the past decade, we have completed dozens of stabilization projects, including in areas of historic urban and religious buildings. Many of our studies have received positive reviews from research institutions, including the Polish Geological Institute and the AGH University of Science and Technology.
